ITV Football Podcast: Manchester United Cup shock, pedestrian Liverpool, Bolton move for Coyle

With Manchester United being dumped out of the FA Cup by Leeds, Liverpool stumbling to a draw against a lowly Championship side and Bolton on the brink of grabbing Owen Coyle from Burnley, what a week to launch ITV Sport's first-ever podcast.

Host Ned Boulting is joined by Andy Townsend, Clive Tyldesley and itv.com's Football Editor Mark Segal to dissect the FA Cup third-round weekend and to look ahead to who could be moving where in the transfer window.

Manchester United's third-round exit is still leading the football debate this week, with our panel attempting to explain Sir Alex Ferguson's post-match rant, while also asking how Michael Owen missed his late chance.

But while Manchester United's defeat could be considered a blip, things appear to be getting much worse for Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.

Liverpool were held by Reading in their third-round tie and their pedestrian football won few fans among our panel.

In the third part of the show we look at the opening of the January transfer window and how Bolton have managed to persuade Owen Coyle to leave Burnley and take up residence at the Reebok Stadium.
