LONDON - Brazil striker Robinho, who joined Manchester City for a British record fee two years ago, has left the Eastlands outfit for AC Milan on a four-year deal.

Sky Television pictures showed the 26-year-old arriving at Milan's training ground for talks on Tuesday before finalising the move from Manchester.

Robinho, who cost City 32.5 million pounds when he joined from Real Madrid in September 2008, never settled in Manchester and spent six months on loan at Brazilian club Santos last season.

The striker, who has played 80 times for his country, underwent a medical at Milan on Tuesday afternoon prior to the transfer being officially announced.

Heading out of the San Siro is Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who has joined Bundesliga side Schalke 04 along with Atletico Madrid midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado.

Robinho's move to Milan has ensured Paraguay international Roque Santa Cruz a stay of execution at City, with the former Blackburn forward linked with a move to Lazio, only for the deal to break down.
