Mallorca Coach Gregorio Manzano Focused On Champions League Dream

Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano has said that winning the last two games of the season against Deportivo La Coruna and Espanyol takes priority over his contract situation at the club as they look to secure UEFA Champions League football.

Rumours are rife that Manzano is set to walk away from the Balearic outfit at the end of the season but the tactician says he has "no desire" to leave the Barralets and said his side is focused on securing points and hoping that Barcelona can do them a favour against Sevilla on Saturday.

"I do not take any special feeling to La Coruna, quite the opposite. We'll go looking for the three points, which is what really matters, the other thing [his contract], we'll see after the game against Espanyol," he said, as quoted by Marca.

"Finishing fourth is as difficult now as it has been for quite some time. Mathematically it is possible, but now we depend on what Barcelona do.

"It is logical that we want Barca to win and Sevilla also wanted a victory for [Real] Madrid [on Wednesday], but it will not matter if we do not win at Deportivo
